

The opportunity to perform in a concert is an exciting, empowering and confidence-building part of the training process. This is where we love to watch our students learn about performance, rehearsals and teamwork while they enjoy the opportunity to showcase their skills. Concerts are a wonderful way for students to showcase the results of their hard work and for family and friends to join in the pride of their achievement. We love giving all students the chance to perform for their family and friends in this supportive and fun environment and encourage even our youngest and newest performers to be involved.
If there is any reason why your child will not be able to perform at the concert on the dates and times provided, please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them.
Please note: that unfortunately any families with unpaid fees will not be allowed to participate in our concert.
This is without a doubt the highlight of our year and we are giddy with excitement to show you how hard our dancers have been working!

DATE & TIME
Our End of Year Concert will be held on Sunday the 1st of December at 10.30am.

Dancers to arrive at 10am
All students participating in our End of Year Concert will work on these routines each week at the end of their class time, developing their skills in the process.
In terms of attendance, it is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes between now and concert time so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. Of course, this is only if it can’t be helped. If for any reason your child will miss a number of their regular classes in Term 4, we ask that you contact reception to let us know in advance. 0424 412 974

A concert fee of $15.00 per student will be payable. Students who have not paid their concert fee will be unable to perform in the concert. You will find that your $15 concert fee has been included in your term 4 dance invoice. Please note: Costumes are HIRED from the studio and various other hire companies and MUST be returned on the day of the concert.

CONCERT MEMORABILIA
VIDEOS
On the day of the performance you are more than welcome to take videos and photos of your child on stage. Please feel free to post them on your socials and don't forget to tag us in them.
ON STAGE PHOTOS
After each dance routine, students will stay on stage for parents to take a photo of them in their amazing outfits. Again please feel free to post these on your socials and don't forget to tag us in them.
ARRIVAL
On concert day, arrive at the Park View Room at Central Coast Leagues Club at 10am.
One of our teaching staff will assist your dancer to the allocated changing area which will be on the side of the auditorium. Please give your dancers box with their shoes etc in them to the assistant.
Over in the preschool side area is where your little dancers will be minded and also be able to view the concert performance.
We ask that you are punctual so we can make sure the performance starts at 10.30am sharp.
All dancers (preschoolers) are to arrive in their Lil Groovers unitard uniforms or Lil Groovers T-shirt with shorts for boys if they do tap, acro or ninjas. Please have their tap shoes on with their Lil Groovers socks.
All students will need to be picked up from the preschool minding area at the end of the show. Students will stay in this location until they are collect by their parents/guardian.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask us. We will ensure that we talk you through the concert day procedure again in the weeks leading up to the concert.
SECURITY & STUDENT SAFETY
As always, the safety of our dance family is our #1 priority. On concert day all students will need to be signed in / out. All backstage helpers will be issued with security passes that are required to be worn at all times. Only Simone's School of Performing Arts staff and registered parent helpers are permitted in the preschool minder area. We do this to protect the students, please respect this policy. Please try not to bring anything valuable, especially electronic devices. Mobile phones are not to be taken backstage or in the changing areas during the concert. Our studio will take no responsibility if an item is damaged, misplaced, lost or stolen.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If your child has any Medical Conditions that may require attention whilst in our care or are carrying any medication with them, please notify our supervisors when you sign in.
WHAT TO WEAR
COSTUME HIRE POLICY
Costumes are HIRED from the studio and various other hire companies and MUST be returned on the days of the dress rehearsals and concert. There are no additional fees payable for End of Year costumes. This has been already included in your termly invoice!
All hired costumes will be taken to the venue on the concert day. No students are to take home any part of their costume at any time. A fee will be charged for any costumes that are missing or damaged (most damage happens from food stains).
Please only pack a water bottle with your child's name on it.
RED CARPET FINALE
We do our very best to make sure every performer feels really special and we love seeing each of them struct their stuff down the red carpet at the end of the show. Please make sure you take lots of photos of your child as they come down the red carpet.
All performers will wear their preschool Lil Groovers unitard uniforms and Lil Groovers socks or Lil Groovers T-shirt and shorts with Lil Groovers socks for boys, for their red carpet moment.

UNDERWEAR
Please be aware that under stage lights, dark coloured or patterned underwear does not look good under light coloured costumes. Please make sure your child is wearing flesh coloured or light coloured underwear. Underwear does need to be worn under the hired costumes.
HAIR
Dancers will require their hair in either high pigtails or half up and down with little pigtails
Please note, for boys neat and tidy hair is all that is required.
MAKEUP
No makeup is required to be worn for our preschool performers
WHAT TO BRING
FOOD & DRINK
In line with venue rules there is to be NO food in dressing rooms. Please bring a labelled water bottle ONLY.
PACKING CHECKLIST
It is suggested that students bring all of their belongings in a small plastic box. It is much easier than rummaging through a bag. Please write their names all over the box and on everything that they bring, every year we have so many pairs of dance shoes and uniforms lost that are never claimed. Please use the following checklist:

Students may like to bring colouring pencil (no markers) as we will have colouring in for them to do if they would like to.
What should my child wear when they arrive?
Full Preschool Lil Groovers unitard uniforms or Lil Groovers T-shirt with shorts for boys, with hair complete is required when students arrive at the venue.
What do I need to pack for my child?
Please bring a plastic container with your child's name in large print on the lid and all over the box.
With the following items in it.
✔️A water bottle - with their name on it and in a separate plastic bag inside container so no water goes anywhere
✔️Shoes that have been labeled with your child's name
✔️Wear Lil Groovers socks to the venue but make sure they are labeled on the inside of the sock with their name on it
also label in the inside of their Lil Groovers uniform and Lil Groovers T-shirt.
✔️No makeup
✔️We will transport all costumes from the studio to the venue for you.
Where do I purchase the preschool uniform from?
Lil Groovers uniform can be purchased from the studio.
What does my child wear for the Lil Acro, Lil Tap & Lil Ninjas routine?
Lil Groovers unitard or boys Lil Groovers T-shirt purchased from the studio.
